Prescription Refills Policy
At ZYP, we aim to facilitate a convenient and efficient prescription refill process through our virtual care services. Please review the following guidelines to understand our policies and limitations:
Evaluation Requirements
Virtual Care Appointment: All prescription refills require an evaluation via a virtual care appointment with a ZYP provider.
Eligibility: Prescription refills are available for medications initially prescribed by an external provider but necessary for their long-term health maintenance. Prescriptions must be verified/proofed via (1 of 3 ways) electronic pharmacy data pull, physical prescription bottle shown during the virtual consultation, or an uploaded picture of the prescription bottle with the pharmacy name, address, and phone number, the patient’s name, date of birth and prescribers name/title. This can be uploaded prior to your visit on the intake form. There will be an “Upload documents” button at the start of your intake form. Your provider may or may not be able to refill your prescription based off verbal explanation of name, strength, and dosing/frequency of your medication.
