    ZYP is a cash-pay medical service that offers simple, efficient, and affordable healthcare solutions without the need for insurance. We specialize in virtual care for medical weight loss using compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, common medical conditions and prescription refills, ESA letters for your home/apartment, and work excuse notes.

    • Why did you choose the name ZYP?

    We wanted a fun, easy 3 letter word that resembles how simple and quick our service is for the everyday busy healthcare consumer.

    • Does ZYP take health insurance?

    No, we are a cash pay service only

    • Does ZYP have a physical office location?

    No, ZYP is 100% virtual - making access to health care quick & convenient for you.

    • Do you accept "walk in's" or after business hours appointment requests?

    We can certainly try to accommodate after business hour appointments, but there will be an additional $19.99 fee for this accommodated service. Text our number: (480) 405-3882 to request an after hours visit and we will send you a special link to schedule an appointment.

    • Can I make one of the ZYP providers my primary care provider?

    Unfortunately, No. We would love to take care of your chronic needs, but virtual care is limited to our access to labs, imaging, diagnostics, and there is no 'In-Person' physical exam, which are very important in primary care services.

    • Will ZYP create a work letter for me if I missed work due to my illness?

    Absolutely, at ZYP - We understand we cannot control illness and sometimes we need a few days off to recover. We can create a letter for you to present to your employer but we cannot give you more than 5 days off and we cannot back-date any work excuse letters for illness/conditions that aren't related to your complaint or illness that you are using ZYP for.

    • How do I get my prescription if I am prescribed one?

    Your ZYP provider will electronically send the medication right to your pharmacy!

    • Can I put a deposit down instead of paying in full right away?

    Paying in full is required - Cancellations not only cost small business money but it takes away a time slot for someone else that could've used our service. You have up to 12 hours before your appointment to cancel.

    • Why are your hours limited?

    ZYP medical is a NEW small business start up and can only commit to a limited amount of hours during the early stages of our start up. We plan on expanding and adding more medical providers once we have the demand.

    • What are GLP-1 drugs, and how do they help with weight loss?

    GLP-1 drugs, like semaglutide and tirzepatide, are medications that help regulate appetite and blood sugar levels, aiding in weight loss. They are safe, effective, and can be part of a comprehensive weight loss plan.

    • How can I get a prescription for GLP-1 drugs at ZYP?

    You can schedule a virtual appointment with one of our providers who will evaluate your health and medical history in detail and determine if GLP-1 drugs are appropriate for you.

    Wegovy® (semaglutide) and Ozempic® (semaglutide) are not compounded. Wegovy® (semaglutide) is FDA-approved for weight loss. Ozempic® (semaglutide) is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes treatment but may be prescribed off-label for weight loss at a healthcare provider’s discretion.

    A healthcare provider may prescribe a compounded drug if determined that it is medically appropriate and necessary for you.

    Virtual Care Services

    • What conditions can be treated via virtual care at ZYP?

    We can treat a variety of common conditions, including ear, nose, and throat issues, minor infections, allergies, and more.

    • How do virtual appointments work

    Virtual appointments at ZYP are conducted via HIPAA compliant video call using Google Meets which we have a BAA agreement for your privacy and protection of health information. You can schedule an appointment online, and our provider will assess your condition and provide treatment recommendations.

    Prescription Refills

    • How can I get a prescription refill through ZYP?

    Schedule a virtual care appointment, and our provider will evaluate your need for a prescription refill. We offer refills for common medications and provide bridge prescriptions when necessary.

    Are there any limitations on prescription refills?
    Yes, we do not refill long-term quantities of your medications. We do not & cannot prescribe any controlled substances, or medications that require strict monitoring or psychiatric management. Our policy is designed to ensure patient safety.

    Emotional Support Animal Letters

    • What is an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter, and how can I get one?

    An ESA letter is a document that certifies your need for an emotional support animal. At ZYP, we offer a fast, simple, and affordable way to get an ESA letter through a virtual care appointment.

    • How long does it take to get an ESA letter from ZYP?

    After your virtual appointment, if you qualify, you can receive your ESA letter quickly, often within a few days.

    Payment and Insurance

    • Why does ZYP only accept cash payments?

    We believe in providing straightforward and efficient care. Accepting cash payments allows us to reduce overhead costs and offer more affordable services without the delays associated with insurance.

    • What forms of payment does ZYP accept?

    We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods. Payment is due at the time of service.

Our services are not designed to manage chronic medical conditions that require ongoing, long-term treatment and monitoring (with exception to long-term weight loss management). If you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension, or any other long-term illness, please consult with a specialist or your primary care physician who can provide the necessary continuous care and management. For any chronic care needs, we recommend seeking comprehensive treatment from qualified healthcare providers who specialize in these conditions.
